Best places in Syangja Nepal:

  Syangja is a hilly district of Gandaki province. Despite being the blend of nature, culture and religion, the district is not much known as a tourist destination. However, there are copious places in Syangja that deserve the attention of the visitors and need to be explored and publicized.
    Also the Syangja is very famous for paragliding. Sworek Hill and Mansangkot Hill is the best places to do paragliding:

1 Bhalu Pahad 



  Bhalu Pahad is a small hill station touched by Siddhartha Highway. It is a celebrated picnic and sightseeing spot. Small elevation circumambulated by a tortuous river gives a unique sight to the visitors. The place usually remains crowded by teenagers who love to take pictures.

2 Chaaya Kshetra Temple 

  It is a exalted pilgrimage touched by Siddhartha Highway that enshrines lord Shiva. It remains crowded during festivals like Shiva Ratri, and ekadashi. Myth has it that one of the burned parts of Satidevi, the first consort of Lord Shiva, had fallen here from the corpse. People believe that Lord shiva had struck his trident in the rocks from where a spring of water originated that quenched his thirst.

3 Garaun Kalika Temple 

  It is also a well known pilgrimage site in syangja district . Shah Kings of Nepal used to come here to pay homage to the goddess, Kali, incarnation of Durga. This temple is also crowded during festivals like Dashain. Because of its location on the top of the hill this place also offers broad view of landscapes, green forests and mountains.

4 Sworek Hill



  Sworek hill is famous for adrenaline activities like paragliding and mountain biking. The unusual yet irresistible landscape literally makes the visitors spellbound. The place offers unparalleled view of mountains and Aadhikhola basin. It also offers paragliding training to the enthusiasts.





Sirubari Village

Sirubari is the first model cultural village of Nepal. It is especially famous for home stays, houses of local people modified into lodges which offer local and organic cuisines. The village consists of pristine houses and pavements tiled with stones. It not just offers insight to the unique culture of indigenous Gurung Community, known for sociability and hospitality, but also gives glimpse of Buddhism influenced culture.
