Siddha Baba Temple, Butwal

Siddha Baba Temple

Siddha Baba Temple is the Hindu temple of Lord Shiva located in Butwal town of Dovan in Palpa district of Nepal.  This temple is visited by people from all over Nepal and often by Palpa and Rupandehi and Hindus from neighboring districts.  It is believed that the pilgrims who visit the temple are authentic.  There is a tradition of launching pigeons while fulfilling one's wishes.  This culture contributed a large number of doves throughout the temple.

Hindu people worship at Siddha Baba's temple on Saturday, Monday and during many secular fairs and without delay and are connected circuitously to Lord Shiva.  During the festivals, a large number of Hindus come to worship the temple.  Nepal is about 5 km from Butwal sub metro city.  The temple is located on the left bank of the river Tinau, on the Sinharatha highway to Pokhara.  A small river called Chidiya Khola flows near the temple.

Thank You.
